Built in the year 1878, Pétursborg is the second oldest inhabited house in Blönduós. In the summer of 2024, extensive renovations were completed on the house and five luxury apartments were created. All furnishings in the apartments reflect the spirit of the house. The smallest apartment is 42.5 square meters, and the largest is 63.5 square meters.

The old town centre of Blönduós is one of the most remarkable in the country and remains untouched since the first settlements. The view from all apartments is unique, as the house is located on the shoreline of Húnaflói to the north and at the estuary of the Blanda River to the east. The view of the Atlantic Ocean is stunning, and the evening sun in late summer is exceptional.

All apartments are equipped with a bedroom, bathroom, living room, dining area, and kitchenette. Each has a private entrance and balcony. The apartments accommodate 2–5 people depending on size.
